"I am proud to have the endorsement of the Humane Society Legislative Fund. Animal welfare and protection have always been high priorities for me. From spearheading an animal abuse registry when I was Chautauqua County Executive, to hosting pet adoption events, to my Senate efforts to establish the Canine Officer Health Monitoring Fund, I believe that the care we show to animals helps reinforce civility and compassion in the world around us.
